La Cabane is a fabulous ‘feet in the sand’ beach bar restaurant. It is located at Batts Rock on the west coast. The menu is written on a surf board and consists of a small selection of dishes made from fresh local organic ingredients. These are cooked Mediterranean style. Fresh fish, barbequed chicken, steak and pork and a selection of tasty salads. There is music playing and a fun laid back vibe. The mixologists offer a wide selection of cocktails. Perfect for sunset. Try the bean bag sofas on the sand or the swings at the bar. There is even a hammock on the beach. Sit in a comfy director’s chair at your table and just relax and enjoy the ambience and the fresh produce. This is a fabulous way to spend a Sunday or any lunch. Also good for a laid back dinner. Hard to find a better low key beach bar restaurant in Barbados. Highly recommended.

Lone Star
Lone Star

This is one of the most popular restaurants on the west coast of Barbados for breakfast, lunch and dinner.   We love it and in our view the setting takes some beating.  It has a cool yet quite informal atmosphere and the entrance and vista as you walk down the vast staircase is breath taking. We particularly enjoy lunch at Lone Star gazing out over the turquoise waters and some lunches have even ended with cocktails whilst we have watched the sun go down. It really is such a special spot. The service is sometimes erratic but the food and the general ambiance and feel of Lone Star is unique. Although it has white table cloths the feel in Lone Star is less formal than Tides and the décor more Caribbean chic that Cin Cin. You also feel like you are eating right on the beach. The menu is not extensive but it has something for everyone.

Fishpot
Fishpot
Tel : +1-246-439-3000

The Fishpot restaurant at Little Good Harbour is a real find. Set in a beautiful, historic colonial style building, it has a more rustic, cosy feel to it than many of its beachfront competitors and is right on the water.  The waves lap beneath the deck where you are sitting. Located north of Speightstown, and about 15 minutes’ drive north of Holetown it really is worth the trip. The menu is quite extensive and do not be fooled by its name. There are lots of choices on the menu other than fish dishes.  Fishpot is generally open at the weekends for lunch as well as dinner. The food is fresh and wonderfully presented and the service is excellent. You can dine inside with views through the coral stone windows over the water or on the decked terrace outside.

This will have an all-day, 7:30 am-2:00 am, bistro menu, a large Italian pizza oven, homemade soft-serve ice cream and young, vibrant energy.
